STARTING

Stage Three (93-130)

EVOLVING

Most teams reach Stage Three within 6-12 months. A focus on adding Design Thinking, Kanban, and Lean UX, as well as moving to agile product management practices, will improve productivity.

A Stage Three team should be able to double their throughput compared to their productivity in Stage One.

Many teams will lose momentum after 12-18 months at Stage Three. Many will revert back to Stage Two if not continually challenged by management to improve.
