The Scrum Master who already knows the framework
DAY 1
Stances & serving the team
Day 1 focuses on what makes a Scrum Master effective at the team level — the stances of teacher, coach, facilitator, and change agent, and how to read which one a situation calls for. Includes deep work on servant leadership, conflict in teams, and facilitation techniques including Liberating Structures.
DAY 2
Serving the Product Owner & organisation
Day 2 moves outward — how the Scrum Master supports the Product Owner effectively (and avoids the failure modes), how to work with management, drive organisational change, and improve measurement in Scrum. Includes Sprint Goals as a transparency and adaptation tool.

- Enable the Product Owner to succeed — and recognise when you're unintentionally undermining them

The hard questions in PSM II are about application. That's exactly where we focus.
PSM II is built around what happens when the framework meets the real world — difficult team dynamics, Product Owners who aren’t empowered, organisations that structurally resist agility. ZXM trainers have operated inside those situations, across federal government, financial services, and large enterprise. The case work in this class isn’t hypothetical.
ZXM’s lead trainers — Matt and Mia — are the only two trainers in Australia to hold both Scrum.org PST and SAFe SPC6 credentials.

FAQS
Questions about this course
PSM I is not a formal prerequisite but is strongly recommended. The course assumes a solid working knowledge of the Scrum framework and at least one year of real-world Scrum Master experience. Participants who come without that foundation tend to find the course very difficult.
PSM I establishes that you understand the Scrum framework. PSM II validates that you can apply it in complex, real-world situations — coaching teams, supporting Product Owners, influencing organisations. The PSM II assessment has the same 85% pass mark but tests judgment and application, not recall.
