Flow inside your Scrum Team
Most Scrum Teams know the framework. Few manage their flow with discipline. This course teaches Scrum practitioners how to apply Kanban practices inside Scrum — using flow metrics, visualisation, and WIP limits to improve predictability and reduce waste without replacing the Scrum framework.
DAY 1
Scrum and Kanban foundations
How Kanban complements Scrum. Visualising work on a Kanban board within a Sprint. Understanding flow: WIP, cycle time, throughput, and aging. Scenario-based exercises establishing a shared flow vocabulary.
DAY 2
Flow metrics in practice
Using flow data to improve Sprint Planning, forecasting, and team predictability. Identifying bottlenecks with WIP limits. Building a culture of continuous flow improvement — and applying these practices sustainably within the Scrum Team.

Your question won't be in the textbook. Your trainer's answer shouldn't be either.
ZXM trainers have applied Kanban practices at every level of scale — from single Scrum Teams to large-scale value streams. When participants ask about flow in complex environments, the answer comes from doing it, not reading about it.
ZXM’s lead trainers — Matt and Mia — are Professional Scrum Trainers (PSTs) certified by Scrum.org, with practical experience applying flow-based practices in scaled agile environments.
