The SAFe POPM course equips Product Owners and Product Managers to operate effectively inside a SAFe Agile Release Train. Over two days you’ll move from theory to hands-on practice — PI Planning, backlog management, stakeholder prioritisation, and connecting customer needs to the work your teams deliver.
DAY 1
SAFe fundamentals and the ART
SAFe principles, the Agile Release Train, PI Planning mechanics, and your role as PO or PM within the ART. From backlog vision to Feature definition.
DAY 2
Backlog ownership and stakeholder alignment
Team Backlog management, Story writing, refinement techniques, prioritisation methods, and managing dependencies and risks across the program.

No. The course has no prerequisites. We recommend reading the Scrum Guide before attending.
Both are foundation Scrum Master certifications from different bodies. PSM I is from Scrum.org, requires 85% to pass, and does not expire. CSM is from Scrum Alliance, awarded after attendance, renews every two years.
