Lead the engine of scaled agile delivery
The Release Train Engineer is the servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train. This four-day course develops the skills and capabilities to facilitate ART events, coach Lean-Agile mindsets, manage programme-level risks, and drive continuous improvement across the ART.
DAYS 1–2
ART fundamentals and PI Planning
SAFe principles, ART structure, and the RTE role. Deep-dive into PI Planning facilitation — preparation, logistics, execution, and post-PI follow-through with dependency and risk management.
DAYS 3–4
Coaching, flow, and continuous improvement
Flow metrics, programme Kanban, Scrum of Scrums, and ART sync events. Inspect & Adapt facilitation, ROAM risk management, and measuring ART performance using outcome and flow metrics.
